Filet Coquille AKA Shell by Aucoc French 950 Silver Flatware Set Service

The aucoc firm was founded in 1821 by casimir aucoc and in 1835 moved their headquarters to the prestigious rue de la paix in paris. The firm regularly collaborated with christofle and bon-taburet, one of the most innovative goldsmiths from the late 19th century and early 20th century. Known for their unique and luxurious styles and craftsmanship the aucoc firm received numerous medals of recognition from several international exhibitions. Notable clients included king louis-phillippe of france, the duke of orleans, napoleon iii and his wife princess eugenie as well as queen victoria of england.
