The large 8 gallon open crock with lug handles is stenciled MANUFACTURED BY CLINTON POTTERY CO CLINTON MO.

The Clinton (Missouri) Stoneware company was formed in 1892 or earlier and later became plant No. 6 of the Western Stoneware Company group.

Measures 15.75 x 14.5 inches.
