Referred to in Creek Chub reference as a Tarpon Darter, this uncataloged big game lure is finished in beautiful brilliant greenback, 4 3/8" in length, with a much larger diameter than the cataloged Darter. With heavy duty hardware and painted eyes, grading shiny VG+, with pointers, a couple minor lip chips, a few tiny touchups and faint age lines. Coming in an oversized box (VG+/Ex-), end stamped SPECIAL 3400. A similar bait can be seen on page 53 of Smith's The "Special" World of Creek Chub Lures.
