Description
Dating to the early 20's, believed to be one of the first prototypes which lead to the Luny Frog's production. Featuring a Basser style mouth on a graceful wood body with exceptional painted detail. Measuring 4 3/8", undrilled for hooks and unrigged, featuring blemish free glass eyes, Basser style mouth on a graceful wood body, screw eye line tie, complete with a black spotted frog finish. In near Ex condition with only light wear and soiling. One of only a scant few wood Lunys, all originating from the Heddon factory archives, this being the only example with top mounted glass eyes we are aware of. Returned from Lang's 2007 Spring Auction, the Dr. John Romero Collection.
