A French Art Nouveau Bee pin brooch clip made in 18 karat gold and featuring colored gemstones and diamond. This piece is one of the purest examples of Art Nouveau flights of fancy. This exquisite Art Nouveau brooch is made of 18 karat yellow gold, carved amethyst, oval cabochon ruby and round brilliant cut and rose cut diamonds. The amethyst measures 45 x 23 x 10 mm, the rubies measure 7.5 x 6 mm, total weight approximately 3 carats, the diamonds are H-I color, VS clarity, total weight approximately 0.30 carat. This fabulous bee clip measures 2 5/8" x 2 ¼” (6.7 x 5.5 cm) long and weighs 35.9 grams.
