Since 1949. Studied: Academy of Art and School of Education of Art Teachers, Rotterdam; Academy of Art at Dusseldorf. Member: "Malkasten" (Paint Box), a famous German Association of Art. Represented in many private collections in Berlin, Munster, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Munich, Brussels and Czechoslovakia. Exhibitions in U.S.: 20th Annual Graphic Arts Exhibition, Wichita, Kansas; Springfield Art Museum, Missouri; One-man shows at Younkers, Des Moines; and at Newton and Sioux City Art Centers; Tall Corn Hotel, Marshalltown; Iowa Traveling Watercolor Show; Dayton's Store, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Commissions: Many displays for the German Industrial Exhibit, 1935-39; Art Director of the Centennial Festival and Banquet of Colonia, Germany's largest insurance company, 1939; Stage settings for Pella Tulip Festival operettas, 1949-1951.
