Description
19th century paned door Biedermeier cabinet. Triangular pediment against squared, molded cornice, three pane door with locking mechanism opens to reveal three shelves, door flanked by ebonized columns, locking base drawer, all raised on ebonized block feet. 76 x 43.25 x 19.5 inches. Provenance: Collection of ceramicist Edward S. Eberle (American, 1944-2023). Previously in the collection of operatic bass-baritone Richard Cowan (American, 1957-2015).
Condition
Shield form lock plates missing on both the drawer and the door. Left and right side panels are cracked in some areas. Veneer cracked, lifting, shipped, and missing in several areas. Lower glass pane is cracked. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
