Inside the eyelet mark of fineness "900". Width approx. 49.5 mm, weight approx. 26 g. On a shortened neck ribbon. Six-rayed silver breast star, the gilt order sign enamelled in white and mounted thereon with two rivets, on the reverse vertical attachment pin with mark of fineness "900". Height 75 mm, weight 45.8 g. Red case with gold-embossed eagle, the white silk lining with inscription (tr.) "Order of the German Eagle – Merit Cross with Star" embossed in gold.Comes with the document for the Italian General Colonial Secretary Prof. Dr. Renato Trevisani dated 18 June 1942 with blind embossed seal, faksimile signature of Hitler and ink signature of Meissner.
