A German guild seal from the town of Ochsenhausen, circa 1700Große, aufwendig geschnittene Matrix aus Messing. Mittig das Wappen der Ochsenhausener Benediktinerabtei umgeben von acht Zunftsymbolen. Die Randinschrift lautet: "S VEREINIGTER H WERCKHER IN M OCHSENHAUSEN". Lange Handhabe aus (fleckigem) Eisen mit kräftigem, abgeflachtem Knauf. Höhe 12 cm, Durchmesser 46 mm.Provenance: Britische Matrixsammlung David Morris.Condition: II
