A bone-inlaid Silesian powder flask for a tschinke, circa 1650The octagonal body made of walnut with fine inlays of engraved and coloured bone. A scene with hares and hounds on the front, surrounded by point decorations. A depiction of a crouching hare on the top. The spout in turned bone. The leather shot pouch still attached, the studs with a braid border. Height 9 cm, length 17.5 cm. A remarkable powder flask type, which was only made for tschinkes.Condition: II
