The painting depicts an 18th century Florentine cityscape at the Arno River at the Santa Trinita Bridge. Signed lower right. Housed in a gilt wood frame. Giuseppe Zocchi, 1711 to 1767, Italian artist known for landscape painting. The Ponte Santa Trinita, named for the ancient church in the nearest stretch of via de Tornabuoni, is a Renaissance bridge in Florence, Italy, spanning the Arno.
