A vintage KPM porcelain plaque depicting a hand enamel portrait of a boy, after the original oil painting, Red Boy, 1825, by Sir Thomas Lawrence, 1769 to 1830, an English portrait painter and the fourth president of the Royal Academy. Signed by the artist, F.J. Carmona, lower right. Framed. The seven year old boy in the painting is Charles William Lambton, a representative of an influential British family.
