Description
An antique Japanese, late Meiji Era, 1868 to 1912 enamel over brass vase. The vase is enameled with a polychrome image of a three claw dragon made in the cloisonne technique on brown ground. The base, the body and the neck of the ware are adorned with stylized geometrical and scrollwork motifs made in the same technique. The ground is inlaid with Goldstone. Unmarked.
