Description
Five Continental Porcelain Figurines

the first is an early Augarten Wien figure of a poultry seller (7 3/4 in.) with backstamp, the second is a seated figure of a woman holding sheet music, Meissen crossed swords mark and incised number 2718 to the underside (unknown if this is part of a larger composition as there is a large aperture drilled in the underside) (left arm restored). The third composition by Jacques Petit is a spill vase behind a man struggling with his boisterous children, marked "J.P." on the underside (9 in.), the fourth is a Royal Vienna figurine of a boy with fish (mold defect as shown on the legs) (6 1/4 in.) and the 5th, a woman with a large shawl, is unidentified (7 n3/4 in.) (chip to plinth).
