Antique Tole painted Tin Tray of Masted Ships in a European harbor scene featuring a castle folly. At the shoreline 2 men stand at a long boat while a third fishes and a couple dressed in red at the shoreline watching the scene. The perimeter and walls of the tray are painted a rich green paint. Rim retains a little bit of the gilt paint. Bottom of the tray has been set into the gallery walls with a pierced handle.

CONDITION: Painted scene is crazed with a network of craqueleur overall. The perimeter exhibits the expected scuffing and discoloration and paint loss. Some paint loss to the scene. Back
