When Doug came home from Viet Nam a friend sold him a '55 Chevy short box pickup. It had a Corvette split manifold. As with all the other cool stuff I had he sold it. Then he ran across this '51 Deluxe Coupe. Having a fondness for Chevy coupes more so than the sedan, plus it had an Offenhauser dual carb split manifold, he had to have it! It's now painted a super fine metalflake dark blue. It drives and rides great and has power steering. The interior is done in gray with Chevy Bowties on the seat back.
