"The continuity for STRANGE SUSPENSE STORIES is... complicated. Fawcett published five issues... Charlton took over the title starting with issue #16 in Jan 54. Why the discontinuity in numbering? Well, what Charlton actually did in early 1953 was to rename a crime comic, LAWBREAKERS, to LAWBREAKERS SUSPENSE STORIES, starting with #10.
