Fables, president of "Fables Publishing Company, Inc," confronts underlings Gaines and Feldstein about a series of events predicted in the plots of their Weird Science mags ("And in THIS VERY STORY, you predicted that an ARMY BOMBER would CRASH in TIMES SQUARE ON NEW YEARS EVE OF 1952. And it happened EXACTLY as you DESCRIBED it.... There's something SUBVERSIVE about what you're doing, and I WON'T STAND FOR IT!"). In the final panel, Al Feldstein reveals the truth: the EC gang are benevolent aliens sent to Earth to prepare mankind for future dangers. EC historian Grant Geissman calls this yarn "the most meta 'Bill and Al' story of them all."______________________________________________________________
