Oversized Lone Ranger comic emblazoned with the western hero's famous cry, "Heigh-yo Silver!," based on the popular radio serial (the longest running radio show in history, 1933-1954). This was the second Lone Ranger funnybook ever produced, following the scarce "ice cream special" mail-order promo (1939), and it led a successful series of comics featuring the mysterious masked lawman. The Lone Ranger proved such a success in comic books, in fact, that even his sidekick, Tonto, and his horse, Silver, got their own spinoffs.______________________________________________________________
