Albert FIEBIGER (1869-?) oil on canvas, German painting around 1900. Still-life, vase with flowers. In the lower right part, the signature of the artist A Fiebiger. Picture in a frame. This is an outstanding floral painting with lots of character. Albert Fiebiger studied at the Dresden School of Arts and Crafts. He was a freelancer for the magazine Jugend and the satirical journals Ulk, Meggendorfer-Blätter and Süddeutscher Postillon. Fiebiger stayed more frequently in Dachau between 1901 and 1907 and also painted in Schleißheim. He was also a temporary resident of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. His wife Else Fiebiger was registered in the 1920s in Weßling, Dießen am Ammersee and in Ortenburg. Fiebiger was a member of the Süddeutscher Illustratorenbund.
