Molonel-Kipa (1906-1966) "Quai et barge", oil on canvas, Russian - French artist. Signed in the lower left corner of the Molonel-Kipa painting. Molonel-Kipa (Malonel-Kipa, nee Shtenberg), Marine 25 July 1906 (Kursk) - 27 August 1966 (Versailles, near Paris). painter. Daughter of State Councilor Nikolai Konstantinovich Shtemberg (1872-1947), director and teacher of literature at the Russian Cadet Corps Lyceum named after Emperor Nicholas II at Versailles. Sister of the artist Alexandra Kukol-Yasnopolskaya. In 1945 she left the USSR to join her father in France, settling in Versailles. She worked in the archives of the Palace of Versailles. In 1948 she taught a painting course at the Russian School of Fine Arts in Boulogne (near Paris). She painted portraits, landscapes and scenes. She took part in the Meudon Salon (1948), the Paris exhibition "Artists in Exile" (1949), the International Salon of Free Art (1948, 1952, 1954-1963), the Women"s Salon (1957, 1963), the exhibitions of the Artists" Association "Ile de France" in Versailles (1952, 1958, 1961, 1965), the Salon des Independants (1963-1966). Personal exhibitions in Versailles in 1956, 1958, 1960. She was under the spiritual patronage of Bishop John of Shanghai and San Francisco (M.B. Maksimovich). She was buried in the cemetery of Thiais, Paris.
