Pair of English 19th Century Terracotta Pedestals by James Stiff and Sons.
James Stiff was an English potter born in Suffolk who worked at Eleanor Coades’ Artificial Stone Company in Lambeth, South London, and then at Doulton and Watts Pottery (also in Lambeth). He eventually went on to own his pottery works in 1843.
England, circa 1870.
H: 32-1/3" Bottom Diameter: 15" Top Diameter: 14-1/8"
Condition: Minor imperfections. Minor chips to base.
