Description
Early 20th century (1900-1938) patriotic straight razor made for export to the United States by the Germania Cutlery Works of Ohligs-Solingen, Germany. The razor handle features a beautiful relief carved eagle in the center and patriotic stars and stripes shield on each end. One side of the blade is stamped, "OXFORD RAZOR WARRANTED GERMANY" and the other side is stamped "GERMANIA CUTL WORKS GERMANY". The Germania Cutlery Works used the "OXFORD RAZOR" trademark from 1900 - 1938. The Nazis seized the factory in 1938. In-house shipping is available.
