Description
George Gardner Symons, American, 1861-1930. An early 20th century oil on board winter landscape depicting Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts. Annotated "G.E." lower left, dated "August 30th, 1926" and inscribed "A remembrance of a visit to Shelburne Falls, to Mrs. Clarke from George Symons" verso. Minor surface grunge, mounting pinholes to board partially visible at corners. Image 8 1/4 x 6" high, in a Gilded wood frame with minor wear, 10 1/2 x 8 1/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $600-800
