DESCRIPTION: The subject item is a an exceptionally fine antique Baccarat, cut crystal chandelier designed in the wonderful, ornate Rococo style of the Louis XV period. The chandelier is crafted from polished bronze, and cut crystal glass. The warm golden tones of the frame are reflected and refracted through the countless droplets and fruit pendants crowned with leaves. The frame of the chandelier is designed in a sweeping, scrolling manner with branches from which hang the droplets and pendants of a variety of shapes and sizes, including many charming examples of crystal glass fruits. 20 lights.
