The canvas has been wax-lined but retains original stretcher bars. There is craquelure in scattered areas throughout but mostly concentrated in the upper half. Some minor surface dirt. Under UV examination, a thin wash of retouch throughout the sky to alleviate cracking. Two other minor spots of retouch right of center.

Presented in a newer gold gilt scoop frame with incised corners.
