The sheet appears to have been laid to board which has been taped to the mount along each edge verso.

There are a few scratches to the reverse of the board.

The sheet undulates slightly beneath the mount.

Overall, the work appears in average colour.

There are signs of light acidification through the sheet and several scattered spots of foxing.

There is a tiny scuff to the paint surface in the bottom centre edge of the sea.
