Chinese Qing Dynasty QianLong Wucai Holding Box. The porcelain box is in a round form, correspondence dome lid and there is a tongue at the outer rims for fitting the lid, raised on short foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of flying phoenix and qilin through cumulus clouds above thrashing lishui wavy waves. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Upper-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
