Ellery" pocket watch, 18 size, 7 jewels, key wind and set gilt plate movement with lever escapement, polished steel balance and diamond endstone in a silver hunting case with engraved cartouche on front cover, roman numeral white enamel dial with blued steel spade hands, serial #61168
Condition
CASE: Two shallow dents, back; Front with tiny dent; Band with two tiny dents; Cuvette with shallow dents; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Fine scratches on cuvette; Bow with minor wear. DIAL: Very good. HANDS: Mismatched. MOVEMENT PLATES: Very fine scratches on plate; One bridge screw with minor scratches and loss to color; Case screw replaced; Specks of dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks), circa 1862
