Description
(1883 - 1949) Chief judge of the Nazi party and father-in-law of Martin Bormann. Major participant in the 1934 S.A. ‘Blood Purge’ in which he murdered many former comrades personally. Offered here is his ‘Card of capture for prisoners of war’ dated May 22, 1945 bearing his name, place of birth, next of kin, date of capture, date of arrival, date of transfer, physical description, distinguishing marks, etc. At the bottom is the annotation CCPWE #32, an abbreviation for the Central Continental Prisoner of War Enclosure #32 of the infamous Allied prisoner-of-war camp in the Palace Hotel of Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxembourg, code named ‘Camp Ashcan’. Signed by Buch at the bottom right. In fine condition. WITH: a photocopy of his ‘Detention Report’ bearing his mugshot and a photocopy of his ‘Prisoner of War Preliminary Record’ detailing his personal and physical information with his fingerprints.
