A soldier's correspondence of over 70 letters written in 1942-1943 by Isaac Jacobs, Private then Sergeant, 512 Bomb Squad, 376th Bomb Group. All letters are penned to his family and contain routine content about his daily life state-side, sending thanks for gifts and letters, sending money, and the like. The lot also contains over 50 letters from family members to Isaac - whom they call 'Ickie' - as well as dozens of property tax receipts, his high school transcript, news clippings, other family paperwork, and three photographs. Condition varies but overall very good.
