Polizei M43 field cap of green wool construction with light green piping at the top. Sewn at the peak is an embroidered hand-sewn BeVo-style Polizei insignia. The fold-down panels are secured in the front with two green painted pebbled aluminum buttons. The interior is lined in green rayon with a grey leather sweatband. Stitched to the crown is a diamond sweat shield bearing the maker mark for Heinrich Balke of Bremen. No moth nips, cracks to the leather, etc. In fine condition.
