Description

A World War II era Officer's visor cap in the 'crusher'style, constructed of OD green wool, a brown leather visor and chin strap secured by two gilded brass buttons on either side, and a bright golden American seal affixed at the center. The interior is plastic lined and bears a tear at the back left. Displayed under the lining is the maker's mark for Dobbs of New York. The intact brown leather sweatband also bears a maker mark for Juster Brothers of Minneapolis. Light soiling to the underside of the visor and some chipping to the rim, else very good.
