World War II Japanese Officer's uniform, consisting of a tunic and trousers. The tunic is of OD green wool construction secured closed by five brown plastic buttons and a hook and eye closure at the collar. Hand-sewn to the collar are the proper rank insignia collar tabs. The tunic has four pockets, two with brown buttons on the chest, and two with plain flaps at the waist. The cotton-lined interior bears a stamp at the left breast, indicating a manufacture year of 1945, otherwise untranslated. Light wear to the wool throughout suggesting heavy use. WITH matching OD green wool trousers closed by two green buttons and a hook and eye closure. Also present is a green canvas size adjustment belt. A few trivial moth holes. Two pieces, very good.
