All volumes are half bound in red leather with marbled boards, and embossed in gold on the spine for the title. The spines are attached and the bindings are tight in all volumes, with all pages attached. There is an owner’s bookplate on the inside front cover. There is also a stamp on the title page that indicates this set was previously owned by the Centre Cerfaux-LeFort Library in Belgium. The end pages are also marbled. Acquired from the estate of a world-renowned French-American Cardiologist who had an extremely strong Catholic faith and whose research was both published and awarded., , LOT REF #23-974
