Description
A collection of carved cypress wood boxes with faces that were used for masks in the Japanese Noh Theater. Included are: Tengu - a mountain demon with a bird like nose, Ko-Omote - representing a young woman's tranquil beauty, O-Ta-Fuku represents simple joy. The came from Dragonfly Jumeau in San Francisco. They range in size from 2 1/2" to 7 1/4" tall.
