French Louis Philippe Cherrywood Buffet a Deux Corps, mid 19th c., the superstructure with molded canted corners, two glazed doors with shelved interior, atop the base with canted corners and conforming case, two cyma drawers over two lower cabinet doors, on a molded base with bracket feet, H.- 87 1/4 in., W.- 60 1/4 in., D.- 25 3/4 in.

The hutch is in good condition with period glass and the cornice intact. Cabinet has a lock, but the key is lacking. All shelves are present and papered. The buffet has two keys in good working condition. Both the buffet and hutch have minor nicks, scratches, wormholes and shrinkage cracks to their sides; the top of the buffet has a few additional shrinkage cracks. The moulding on the left front foot is detached and in the drawer; the right foot has a piece of detached moulding and the rest is lacking.
