Louis XIV Style Carved Walnut Armchair, 20th c., the pair of opposing doves over the pierced acanthus crest and ears, the portrait bust in profile centers highly carved back, with zoomorphic down swept scrolled arms, on ring turned baluster supports joined by a pierced front stretcher over a ring turned lower stretcher, on moulded feet, H.- 56 in., W.- 28 in., D.- 25 in. Provenance: The Estate of Jay Calamia, property from the Dufour-Plassan House, New Orleans, Louisiana.
