BOOK CONDITION: Near Fine, solid binding, light rubbing and light soiling to endpapers cloth covers, previous owner's name to top corner of fep.; in a Very Good dust jacket showing light soiling, wear to the extremities, light flaking and small chipping to edges, remains of toned clear tape residue along upper and lower margins or both panels, small area of loss to spine center, signs of contact with moisture to both panels (less noticeable when looking at front panel and more evident along recto of the rear panel, but visibly affecting both panels when observing the jacket verso). Overall a solid copy of the true first edition with the very scarce original dust jacket (that presents well in a new, clear, brodart protector).
