Kentucky alone had nearly 500 actions between elements of the Union and Confederate Armies and Tennessee saw more action than any other state other than Virginia. Very scarce map published in 1861 by Johnson & Browning. Full, original hand-coloring by counties. Vignettes of the State House in Nashville and the Navy Yard in Memphis.
