Let me begin by saying the embroidery on this quilt is amazing each block tells a story birds, nest cross, nature related pictures.Looks as if a true artist made this gives yo a feeling of all the heart and soul that went into this.
This Antique patchwork quilt has some age related signs of wear. Some of the patches have lifted the stitching came loose. In the photo on the left second square down there is SHREDDING ON fabric. There is also some other small areas of light shredding on the fabric. I have a close-up photo of the one with the most damage it has lifted & the fabric is shredded. Overall this piece looks amazing considering its age. Displays beautifully.
