Note: Pier Jacobo Alari Bonacolsi (1460-1528) earned his moniker 'Antico' for his dedication to the art of ancient Greece and Rome, in particular his bronze reductions of famous antique statuary.
The Antico version of Spinaro by Pier Jacopo Alari Bonacolsi is housed in the Capitoline Museum in Rome.
Condition
Uneven surface with losses to the patination. Scattered verdigris patination with a minor age crack on this right wrist.
