ASSORTED BRASS AND METAL CANDLESTICKS, LOT OF EIGHT, comprising six brass examples, including a pair of English examples with faceted knop and beehive knop stem; a possible Swedish pair, underside impressed "N45"; an English Harrison patented telescopic and push-up example, side of foot impressed "HARRISON'S PATENT"; and a Spanish example with circular-form drip pan and graduated knop stem; remaining example a pair of sheet-iron chambersticks with push-up ejector and saucer bases. Late 18th and 19th century. 3 1/4" to 11 7/8" H.

Accessioned in 1900, 1906, and 1907.
Condition
Very good overall condition with expected wear, some with scattered light denting, Spanish example with a loss to edge of base and a replaced modern nut to underside, Harrison example is not secure when extended and is lacking push-up mechanism.
