These single mounted spurs with 12 point rowels stand out for the heel bands formed as a snake coiling back upon itself, which are even cut out in the metal. The bodies are decorated with incised scales and detailed heads. The shanks, heel band buttons and chap guards are decorated with many lines and flourishes in the silver.
