Description
The print shows the horrors of low life in town, where the statue of Charles I can be seen dimly over a sordid street full of bagnios and quacks. This engraving was published in 1807. The original was by William Hogart and the engraving was done by Thomas cook in 1798. The framed engraving is approx 11 5/8" x 5/8" x 13 3/4" and it weighs 1.48lb. The print is approx 6" x 7". The framed print is in a good, vintage condition with some smudges on the glass, chips on the frame and slight discoloration on the print.
