Description
Joseph Goebbels. "The Reply to English Propaganda." Berlin: M. Muller and Sohn, (c. 1939.) 4to, 8 pp. Likely an air-drop letter. Produced by the Nazi's in reply to British letters to the German people – also likely air-dropped. A rather undiplomatic, angry and infantile retort, enumerating the blemishes on British history (their wars, slavery, etc.) without answering to their own current aggressions. The letter seems to make no attempt to sway British public opinion in favor of Germans, but instead it seeks to offend its reader and essentially invites conflict. An interesting piece of history from the twisted mind of Goebbels, who we know today as a murderous, maniacal, and tiny little man-child.
