THE HOLY BIBLE… ACCORDING TO THE AUTHORIZED VERSION; WITH EXPLANATORY NOTES… BY THOMAS SCOTT. London: L. B. Seeley and Sons [et al], 1835. 10.5" x 8.25". 6 volume set. With 10 engraved maps. Bound by Charles Thurnam of Carlisle (with his small binder's label to endpaper) in attractive straight-grained morocco stamped in blind and lettered in gilt, all edges gilt. An attractive set in nice condition.

Condition

A few very tiny nicks, otherwise binding show very little wear. Contents with some foxing in limited places (mostly to title pages.) A Very Good set, sold as bindings, it appears these have sat on a shelf unread for the majority of their existence.
