The Pansy Daggerwing or Marpesia marcella is a butterfly in the family nymphalidae. This specimen is found in the neotropical and nearctic realms, Mexico and Peru. Pansy Daggerwings are full of colour, with the wings having a thick orange band going though each one and also have patches of stunning purple.
