The in-dial at 3 o'clock is the chronograph second hand.
It has an in-dial 60-minute counter at 6 o'clock and a permanent second hand at 9 o'clock.
The center hand is a chronograph second hand for direct reading of 1/10 seconds.
The center hand of a typical chronograph makes one revolution in 60 seconds but this model makes one revolution in 10 seconds so it moves at a much faster speed.
As with all chronographs please turn off the stopwatch function except when measuring. Especially with this model I think that constantly operating the chronograph will put a considerable strain on the chronograph mechanism.
*The touch of the push button is relatively good and there is almost no needle skipping of the chronograph 1/10 second hand when starting the chronograph.
When you stop the hands the chronograph 1/10 second hand moves back a little and then stops. This move may be a matter of personal preference.
*The previous El Primero had a dial with a fine scale that divided one second into ten equal parts and was advertised as a chronograph capable of measuring 1/10 seconds but it could not be said to be very practical. did. This model has a hand for direct reading of 1/10 seconds but even with this method it does not feel like you can read the time instantly. I don't think many people buy luxury watches for the purpose of measuring but please think of it as a way to enjoy the fun of mechanical hand movement.
*For the 1/10 second direct reading chronograph there used to be CAL.4057 with flyback but it may be discontinued now. Does this mean that CAL.3600 is the successor model? Please note that CAL.3600 does not have a flyback.
