An interesting photograph album containing 142 silver gelatin snapshot prints depicting scenes on the Isle of Man, compiled in the mid-1930s. Subjects include four mid-race photographs of the Tourist Trophy (TT) Races of 1936; landscape, coastal, and evening views around the island; Port Soderick; an interesting snapshot of a seaside puppet show; scenes of Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man; harbour and fishing activity; 24 snapshots of the Coronation Naval Review, 1936; and a small group of scenes from travels to Chester, Liverpool, the Lake District, and London during the Coronation Year, 1937. Image sizes ranging from 60 x 85mm to 80 x 110mm, mounted to page recto in corners, pages titled and dated in pen, album overall measuring 195 x 275mm.
